This is the reason I used to change my cars so often:

Finance - time passed - get bored - still paying finance - sell - pay off finance - start again.

I've since owned a car I can afford without finance and am subsequently much more contempt (if thats the right word) with my purchase, especially when it means I can afford to treat myself every now and again.

Jim your missing my point

Regardless of a cars age if I had a Focus ST compared to my E90 then my fuel bills would be stupid

Take the age of the car out of it - high performance cars must cost people a fair bit to run if they are used everyday
