We're looking at the above and wondered how people feel the comparison of performance is having driven both?

I owned a 1.2 for a couple of years, and when I wrote it off test drove a 1.4 as a replacement.

Honestly, felt absolutely no different to drive. Sounded ever so slightly better, but for the extra fuel being used there seemed to be no extra performance.

1.2 16v C are almost on par with 1.4 16v B

theres a difference, 1.4 mainly feels more torquey imo

Drove a few 1.2 sxi's and owned a few x14xe corsa b's and and there nothing the same the 1.4 is much faster and will be much better with a few mods, as for the 1.2 is only good on fuel compared to the 1.4

my c 1.2 can keep up with my mates 1.4 sport near enuff to the tope end then 1.4 pulls away his has a inlet on it and a scorpion exhaust
