Reason i'm asking,my brother's corsa will not start and my dad reckons it's fuel pump....

I had the same but replaced a relay under the scuttle on the drivers side. Maybe because my car has had an engine conversion, but I'd check there as well if not.

Not behind the kick panel, ECU is on the inlet, relay is next to the glovebox iirc, remove it and look for the purple one to the left.
Should have two blue and red wires running through it (If thats the case, it is the right one).
Just put your finger on it and see if you can feel it clicking, can do the same with the fuel pump to see if you can feel it working.

^It depends on the engine, 1.0/1.2 with the ECU on the inlet, will have it next to the glovebox, Other engines with the ecu in the drivers side footwell will have the relay right next to it.
