I have fallen ill yet again, and i think its all down to the cooks at work.

I work at a supermarket, and it seems like all off the cooks have no idea what they are doing.

I just want to know if there's a website were i can see if they need specific training, because to me they seem a little dangerous

Cheers Sam

It's not your responsibility is it? Have a word with your boss/manager.

This. Or go straight to the food hygiene people and report it that you've been ill after eating there, on more than 1 occasion. They'll be in there like a shot I bet.

They'll have had to do a food safety course to make sure they know about handling foods.

Beyond that probably not.

IT probably has a separate canteen for staff and customers.

Anyone working with food should have a food hygiene certificate. Id ask around the people you work with, if they have been ill aswell. Id speak to your boss they must be doing something wrong.

If the food at the staff canteen in the Morrisons i work at is anything to go by, i'm not surprised you're ill really Dont think theres anything in those kitchens that hasn't seen a deep fat fryer!

Correct - however I doubt its much different in the staff canteen, when I used to work at Morrisons the people that worked in there didnt have a clue, its literally put it in the right appliance to cook it, press a button and wait for the ding

I used to be a cook in a supermarket doing staff meals. We had to do basic food hygiene training every 6 months.
