Put a bit of oil down the plug holes, then do another compression test, if it goes up, piston rings have gone aswell, Deffo worth doing!

i poored water on the 4 cylinders to see if it leaked through but stayed same level and no movement in the bore so they seem alright its all stripped for a new headgasket at the moment

id probably tell him to back away from anything mechanical.

lack of compression across all 4 is more likely to be valves/rings worn (and if they are that low they will be knackered)

before i took head off tho it was just getting hot quickly and gunk creamy shit in the oil no missfiring no power loss pulled like a train. i just wanted to know if the compression would be affected with the headgasket failing???

what im saying is the first person said compression should be 180plus with all plugs out and gunky shit in the oil i checked the piston rings and no liquid is going past them rings so there fine and no movement from the boor inside.i just wanted to know if the compression of 50-75 is common when the hg is buggered and im hopeing once its all fixed it should go over 180???

anymore info welcome like i said theres no movement from the piston side to side or up and down in the bore no power loss before i took head off just some smoke and cremey shit on dipstick and on oil cap pored liquid into the bore and it didnt seep down the side of the pistons any of them so they seem alright?? i suspect its the headgasket did a compression test before i took head off with engine cold it read 50-75 on them all with one not reading anything. any info welcome on what u think
