F20 wouldn't take the torque produced from a let for long, especially if u tune it. Better off with a F28 tbh, 6 gears too.

Is there any modification needed for the gear linkage on the f28 like when you put the extension in for the f20?

If you have both gearboxes and dont mind spending the extra for the front mount, silly to not use the F28 IMO.

I'm pretty sure you have to mod the linkage, I'm sure somebody will have a how-to guide around somewhere, or tell you what you need to do.

hi there mate yeh quite a bit involved to run a f28, the little arm that comes off the gear selector needs to be chopped down so the gap between the linkage and rubber mount holder is 1cm (bottom one in the picture) and the top linkage in the pic is the m-tec corsa f28 linkage then youll need to buy the lowwer arm spacers that lower the ti bar to under the lower arm to prevent tie bar hitting f28 as the wider than f20: then you will need the f28 2wd conversion plate: and then you will need to buy the corsa/tigra f28 gearbox mount and youll need to change to a late potted type flywheel and clutch and get a gearbox
