apparently its an advantage to take the EGR valve off my corsa
why is this ????

they break quite easily. if its blanked off it doesnt break. meaning you dont need to keep buying £100 egr's
never had one break on me though
also it might give you a slight increase in bhp but its not alot

Dont bother with it. If you have a x14/16xe then it a pain to get to. Performance wise my car is the same with it blanked off

Its a pain to get to on the x14 and x16 engines but its worth blanking off if you have one that is in good working order on the car currently!
They mess up very easily which leads to the EML coming on, hunting, cutting out and just a general PITA to drive!
If you blank it off, I have heard people say that it is a smoother drive but no increased performance.

(Coming from someone who drove with a dodgy EGR for about 2 weeks in rush hour traffic, pain to keep running)

does the eml light not come on when you accelerate hard? mines playing up i think do y just have to fit the blanking plate between the egr valve and the inlet? cheers lee
