Went in 2 me local car accesories shop 2day intending 2 come back with a 57i kit. When i told the shop assisant the model of me car they said they didnt make em 4 my model of car after looking through there catalogue allthough i'm pretty certain they do! Its a 1.2 8v 1996 N reg. And after getting back had a look on filterpower.com and apparently they do, do one?  can ne1 confirm they do?

Yes they do indeed... www.potn.co.uk, they do one for a 1.2... would have to say prob most popular K&N for any corsa too!

yeah they do, mine used to b a 1.2 8v and thats the same kit i had

They dont make one specifically for the 1.2 8v so in that respect they are correct.
The thing that they do is that the 1.2 8v 57i kit is exactly the same as the 1.4 8v 57i kit. So if you were to go back ask for the 1.4 8v kit and you will get exactly what you need.
The part number for the 1.2 8v 57i kit and 1.4 8v 57i kit are identical, dont believe me.....check on K&N website.
