My other half's car has developed this weird creaking noise whenever the car goes over any kind of bump in the road - small or big.
Also, if you push down on either front wing or say stand on the front door sills and jump up and down a little a similar noise occurs also.
I'm guessing:
- wheel bearings
- track rod ends
- shock absorbers
Creaking sounds like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2xqx5_WkVo (not our car BTW just a random YT video with the same kinda noise!)

Ive got the same thing in the rear, only it happens around corners. Was told i needed new springs/shocks, so i got a full set, but it still happens along with water leaking through the rear shock tops and even worse handling

As pow says, it sounds like a worn bush or similair from that video anyway - basically the rubber that's meant to be somewhere has worn away.
