I bought an old p reg 1.2 8v corsa b till i got an upgrade.. after the car has been running for a while theres a funny clicking sorta noise so when i left the bonnet it seems theres a blockage causing the water to bubble n sound like its stuck, tried opening the cap on the expansion tank and the water was boiling to the point where the water boiled out with alot of steam.. WHY?? can it be fixed?

Could be debris in the rad, squeeze the large pipes either side and see if the water flows from side to side

check all the hoses going to and from the radiator. if they are hot it is more than likely a radiator fault. if not more than likely the head as i had an identical problem on my old corsa. as a temp fix i turned the heating on full whack with all vents open and it takes most heat away from the enjine and stopped the water boiling over. it just gets incredibly hot in the car :/
