depends on what your looking at doing when you say a service ?

around 20 quid tops for oil and a oil filter from local motorfactors

about a fiver for an air filter, around same for fuel filter and i cant see no more than 15 quid for a set of plugs from local motor factors

not saying these prices are 100% correct
not massive amounts more though mate

36 quid for front discs and pads is good, with brakes i find what u pay is what u get, just before i bought my car it'd had new discs and pads on front and there just motor factor jobbies and they squeak sometimes lol

rear brakes on a corsa b have taper roller bearings what u have to adjust, if your not technically skilled id say get some1 else to do them but thats my opinion, what sort of mileage you at ? is your handbrake realy high when applied ?

As long as the handbrake still holds then I wouldnt bother changing it, unless it needs pulled right up but 5 or 6 clicks isnt that excessive I dont think

as mertin said sean id leave the handbrake 6 clicks isnt bad,

and as for 68k when i had my corsa b i was doing a service around when it hit 66k and as im a mechanic for the price of them without even checking my back brake i bought some new rear brake shoes,

took rear drums off and was shocked they had plenty of life left so ive still got those somewhere in garage
if u find out otherwise with yours u2u me matey ill sort you them out cheap

regarding the running problems a good service consisting of oil and oil filter spark plugs and air + fuel filters always helps an engine run better and more efficently,

although id say get your car on a diagnostic code reader at a garage, the 1.2 16v are quite common for air flow meters if i remember right
