Are any jeeps / 4x4's good mpg? Especially if towing then mpg goes out the window

Isuzu trooper 3.1. Runing cost of a shogun is a bit harsh.

Had a Discovery for the past 4 years, only things i have had to replace are an alt belt and indicator bulb, £150 a year to insure, not the best on fuel(auto) but it just keeps on going

Discovery - have a 300 tdi, paid £960 for it and think its a good old work horse! 30mpg for my day to day driving. Bit agricultural but does the trick and doesnt get fussed easily by any terrain. Great in the snow!

my sister might be selling her 3.1 td izuzu big horn soon for around 1k.

Would probably suit you quite well, tickes most of your boxes anyway, and comes it with air con, heated seats etc

They drive quite well for a 4x4 too as the the steering etc is done by lotus, even has a lotus badge on the steering wheel for extra win points.

steeper muddyer farm tracks to yours ian

put it this way my omega got stuck.

disco is looking best bet.

30mpg is better than my omega atm wich is getting 25 ish, due to it being poorly

ill look into the bighorn.
the hilux value has gone up recently., im convinced its due to topgear.

shogun and pajeros are good. but the fuel seal faliure is putting me off. ive had one do it, its a cunt to start when a pissing 5 quid seal fails and is a gay job to fix
