One of things that irritates me the most is seeing rust on the body work of my car and after having rust sorted last year by a body shop its back already im starting to get a bit sick of paying money every year to keep the rust away so just been to another body shop for a quote to have it sorted and its gonna be another £350 out my pocket to sort it,I payed £250 last year and thats £600 in 2 years to remove rust
Anyone else been in the same boat?

Unless the rusty parts are completely cut out and then treated with zinc on both sides (which includes using weld through zinc primer) then the rust will always come back.
You're better off spending the money on a nice solid shell

yeah this is good but actually people do not understand this, that when heating (welding) a metal plate it rust again in few days to months. better to cover welded part with antirust primer and than use a 2k paint which is not a porous pant.
it is useless paint with zinc paint before welding as weld will burn the zinc off.
last step is to cover the painted are with some short of rust proofing chemical prefarable a oil based chemical which remain liquid through the years.
