Most of the time, stand around having banter with friends/ meeting new people.

ocassionally illegal street racing, showing of cars etc

only get trouble of the plod if you start drawing attention to yourself, keep noise to a minumum and dont sit there doing burnouts etc and generally speaking they'll leave you alone apart from the odd check here and there

but all depends where you go etc

ive been to car meets and its usually full of tossers that get over excited and do daft things mainly due to infouence from others.

this made me feel like a bit of a loser, just being there.

ive never been again.

For some clubs jonny.

The VW one I went to, every other Thursday in Birmingham, all parked up met new people and chatted about cars & other crap. Had the odd dickhead (in a ford) doing burnouts etc, but it was calm.

You obviously go to the wrong meets, theres a VW/german meet EVERY weds in Coventry, usually at least 30 cars there, more during the summers. We have loads of good meets for Ibizas/Seats, I had a good one running at Derby every month, again usually about 20-30 cars coming. A mate has organised 'mega' meets where about 50-70 cars turned up

You forget I'm from Burnley mate, full of scrotes these days. Couple of years ago when me and a few mates used to run Burnley cruise it was great, 70+ cars every Saturday but dick heads stopped that
