Whats the most power you can put threw a f16 box with out it spewing its guts out everywere im thinking its about 150 bhp as my m8 got hiz redtop hooked up 2 it and the box isnt happy.

My mat runs a 3ltr v6 through his f16 he killed 3 f20's prior to the f16 and that has now Lasted nearly a yr of constant abuse

F16, the 16 refers to 160 ft.lbs being the max design torque of the gearbox.

thats just a myth tbh,

f16 should be fine on an xe, though most boxes are tired now.

Thank a lot got a plan 4 a x16xe turbo planed was wondering if id be replasing the gearbox all the time as my 1.4 box struggles atm and its not turboed its just probly worn out agen thanks 4 the info

o right engines im good at gearboxes im not lol well inthat case would the box on the x16xe hold up to beeing turboed?

Quite a few people have turbo'd C/X16's and use F15's so it should work but it would be wise to get a couple of spare ones just in case, as if the one on the engine is starting to get worn it could let go with the increased torque running through it.
