I left my car in a NCP in town last night- get back to find someone smashed in the driver window and searched for satnavs- which I dont have.
I am insured for window replacement at £70 excess. If I go this route, does it affect the no claims bonus, or make next years insurance more expensive?
Ive called a glazing supplier- they can fit the window for £90, or supply the glass for £48.
Opinions?
Cheers

Windows are easy enough to put into the door and runner, its just getting all of the glass out that is a pain.
I'd personally pay the £90 for it to be fitted, if not go to a scrappy and get one, also gives you a rough idea of how to put it in, as you take it out of the scrapped car.

This happened to me! I went and got one from the breakers for £25 then took it to my friend at a garage and he fitted it. They are quite easy to replace if you want to do it yourself though. Just a load of smashed glass everywhere!

Just get it done under your excess for an easy life, thats what i did. It doesn't affect renewals / no claims
