i am fed up wit all the 106 boys tellin me there quicksilvers would wipe the floor with my corsa b sri 16v (but will never prove this) has anybody owned both of these cars and can compare them? i mean they are perfectly good cars and i genuinely dont know if they are quicker so im not puttong them down just curious.

The 1.4's are only a shade quicker than the 1.1's... but i mean, come on, your splitting hairs.

My 1.4 Sport with 3 heads up was slightly faster than a Quicksilver in a straight line, get on some twisty roads however, it might be different.

Be very different in the twisties, 106s are like go-karts lowered, mates was anyway.

No might about it, in standard form the Corsa will be doing it's best to headbutt the nearest ditch while the 106 clears off. The French don't get many things right when building cars but great handling small cars really are their forte.

my corsa c 1.2 sxi can just about beat a quicksilver thay arn't that quick tbh
