its not something im doing, i wouldn't even say i can weld, done a little bit in the past and apparently i was a natural at it but never done it since tbh.
I was just wondering if anyone's done it on there car and is it necessary on a 20xe or let conversion into a b? also pix?

It's not needed, but no harm in it.

But stitch welds are better.

is it official its not needed though?

and what's the difference in seam, stitch and mig

obv spot welding is a waste of time in this area
isnt spot welding the one that holds quarters on and that? like the one around your rear window if you take them out

sorry i just dont know what im on about when it comes to welding

The Nova tends to crack, but Corsa's are alot stronger.

Seams are a continuos seam of weld, but stitch are short lines along the joins.

Done with a mig welder.

It would be worth doing, if your gonna be Rallying it, doing jumps and stuff.

As said it not needed BUT if you can afford to get it do or your able to do it yourself then might aswel do it

Stitch welding is like a inch of weld then a inch gap, then another inch of weld and on like that.

IMO, I'd only do it on the cross member, as that area is fairly strong, but it wouldn't hurt to help.

Unless you can do the welding yourself, or can get it done for free, Its not really worth IMO.
