Yes it is depressing but One of those things I think will get more interesting with age. Classifieds had mk2 Golfs going for £6k etc loads of old fords and vws that already hardly see on the roads.

It also made me miss having a project. The creativity and dreaming up of wild idea was always so much fun

I had every max power from around 93 to 2000.

Sold them all back to the shop owner I bought them from (I assume he sold them on for more though lol)

I had the May, maybe June issue of Max Power I bought in 1995, had a pinky purple 205GTI on the front I seem to remember. Dont know what happened to it, must have it somewhere.

I had a huge stockpile of MaxP, Fastcar, Redline, Performance Car etc from about 94 through to 2000 and my mum binned them all in the summer of 2003 when i was working away in Essex.

Recently got my paws on a stack of Supercar Classics magazines from the late 80s. Keeping them for a while, reading one now and then, will probably sell them in a few years when they hit 25.
