Blueflame, never heard a bad thing about them on the LCR and the tailpipe suits it spot on imo.

Ojc - did you find much difference when you fitted the dave f airbox at all? Smoother running or any performance at all? Looks like there the ones to go for just wouldn't mind an opinion from some one who has one fitted

On the defence though there is a massive force fed air duct right over the tmic so there wouldn't be to much hear soak surely!

If it was only the whine you noticed is it really worth the £130 or once the package is fitted I.E charger mod, remap, exhaust ect that you notice a difference?

its sat right on top of the engine every time you arent moving its soaking in heat

id still argue that even when its moving with the air cooling would still absorb more heat then a front mount

you wont get that with a front mount

I do see were your coming from a front mount is certainly in a btter place as right out the way of the heat soak areah and low to the ground so all the heat will rise away from it but its certainly going to be easier to install the TMIC as there is naff all room at the front & herd quite a few good reviews on the TMIC that are about
