hi all need some advice please. Im after a new exhaust system for my 1.4 sport and wonderred what other people were running. I dont want anything stupidly loud, have seen a sportex cat back on ebay for £120 and there is an ashley one for £160 they are only mild steel so want to know peoples opinions or should i wait and pay extra for a stainless one?

Have one custommade, you'll be able to choose how loud, what type of noise you want, what backbox it has etc.

i got a 1.6 with a 4.1 manifold, decat, centre silencer and a nice (2.5/3" ish) stanless back box. sounds lovely. tempted to get rid of the centre silencer soon though. and i got a fatter decat to go on

a custom made cat back system will be similarly priced to the ones you're looking at on ebay.
