There are to be fuel protests starting this Sunday. Will result in go-slows and a protest at stanlow oil refinery, blocking tankers entering and leaving.. due to last 8 days. Might affect this Sunday meet :/

Don't have a lot of info on it atm, going off what I've heard

Yeah, heard about it a few times, just fill up when you get home from the meet, nowhere's going to have run out after a few hours of blockading.

If I do that, I know I've got at least about 400 miles to last the week then I'll just have to see how it goes.

i know, but the demonstrators seem to be urging everyone to fill up now. ive not noticed any panic buying yet, but the local petrol station has been a bit busyer than usual this evening. will fill to the 40 mark tomorow and top up when i get back

Think everyone panic buying defeats the object of the protest.

The fuel company's still make their money out of it, They are just doing them a favour empting all the petrol stations then when the protest is over, they refill with fresh fuel and make alot more money back!

Just a pointless exercise for them!
