I used to be a valeter for about 2 years and know how to clean a car etc.

I've never tried any of this detailing malarkey. Can someone tell me the step by step process and what is need?
Links to websites would be helpfull.

I know about clay barring etc, mopping etc but this detailing seems to have steps.

Any help is appriciated!

Cheers

fill bucket up with water and fairy liquid.

wash wheels with sponge.

wash car with same sponge making sure to work from bottom to top.

spray with water.

dry off with a teatowel.

wait for the sun to come out so you can see how you've raped the paintwork, then get on the phone to refined detail

Should really do the wheels and arches before the body otherwise you could splatter dirt all over the paint again.

You don't need a sponge or whatever to wash the wheels with anyway tbh, I just use wheel cleaner and a detailing brush, and the big brush for doing the insides every so often.
