Anyone had any problems with them? My back brakes seem to lock up i've tried adjusting it so the spring is totaly slack but not much better, also pedal had loads of play?

If the car is lowered it will give too much bias to the rear.
Play in the pedal will be a different issue. Do you mean free movement at the top or travel at the bottom?

Just disconnect the spring i do on mine and its fine.
