on my corsa 1.0 2003 the exspansion bottles keeps going to minium then when i loosen the cap fills back to max why does it do it and should it be doing this?

Its airlocked run the car up with the bottle cap off and heaters on hot maximum on level ground allow to run for 15-20 mins to bleed the system!!!

iv tried that m8have to top up each morning been told water pump pulley got play so need new pump???????

Wouldn't think that would cause it to 'top up' when ya take lid off?? What's the temp run at?? And is the fan kicking in to cool it down?? Sounds to me mate like its got abit of air in.. Have ya tried squeezing the bottom and top pipes of the radiator whilst the cars running to aid bleeding??

Keep squeezing the pipes off the radiator one after another pal and see if that helps!!!

Perhaps got a leak? Mine was the same, turned out to be the pump leaking and headgasket going.

Been to breakers today and got a normal corsa sport radiator and on the bottom of the rad theirs two plugs on the damaged one but on my normal one theirs only one hole?? Which sensor off the old rad do I need??
