the engine loom is seperate from most of the internal car loom. Of course u leave the rest of the standard loom in there
you dont need the 1.6 8v dash loom, as thats probably from a nova anyway?

use the 1.6 8v engine loom
the dash and car loom remain the same, and are the same across all corsas whether 16v or 12v

Nope the 1.0 12v and 1.2 16v dash looms are different from the rest of the range as the ECU's are in the engine bay. You either need to modify the 12v dash loom or replace it for with a loom from another corsa that isnt a 12v or 1.2 16v. Dash loom from the astra donor car wont work.
Imo its easy to change the loom. Thats what I did anyway

Yeah, Its an arse, Makes it much easier to change the dash loom, Even more so for a engine like a 8v that will just plug in.

Just to bump this, does the dash loom come apart in a few bits? or does the wiring the goes the length of the car for rear lights etc all need to be changed also?
