I have just taken my rubstrips off my corsa c and there is white line of faded paint ......HELP......... I wouldnt of taken them off if i had known...
anyone got any ideas how much vauxhall would charge to get them re-painted or does anyone know of a good body shop in Warrington area or North West.

Mate i am affaid this has happened to alot of peeps with a corsa c it is pot luck if it is there or not. repainting is the only way around it.

Are there any holes behind that need filling in and repainting? I want to take mine off, car is only 6 months old so hope theres no fading!
Maybe some T-cut polish will help the fadeing parts!

there are no hole mate, but it could be faded it doesnt matter how old the car is.

they just stuck on then? How do i go about removing them??

yes they are stuck on.
just pull them off and the glue and some sponge will be left behind, get some auto glym tar remover and it will come straight off with that and a little elbow grease.

just the sxi badges, i was gonna get the bump strips removed nxt time my car went in to get some colorcoding coz i thought there would be holes there! sxi badges came off dead easy!

mine did the same i scraped the glue off with my finger nails and t cut it about 5 times, the water mark goes after a bit

try using fishing line like dental floss to remove the strip.

Palatine is sposed 2 b quite a good body shop, they've done some sh*t hot paint jobs apparantley. Its just off wilderspool causeway.

Took mine off today and there was no difference at all, used autoglym to remove the glue, looks a look nicer and will be easier to polish!
