I don't mind splashing out on pads seeing as they're one of the main safety features of a car. Think my Project Mu pads worked out about £220 delivered from Japan.

3-4 sets of pads and you could already get a brembos :/

i would understand on a track car or sports car, just not a corsa

Carbotech XP8s should be cheaper than Ferodo DS2500

We moved from DS2500 / DS3000 to Carbotech XP8, XP 10 and now XP12 due to the price.

Still fucking £260 or so for a set of front though : puke :

XP8 is comparable with DS2500
XP10 / XP12 is like a DS3000 but works a bit better from cold, less squeel and seem to be a bit lighter on discs. Still not much to report on the 12's so they might eat discs a bit more.

Surely thats like saying '4 or 5 tanks of fuel and you've got brembos'

Pads are consumables and Brembos will still need brake pads

Silly comment

Only downside to XP8 are the fact they discolour your wheels unless you get the dust off straight away.

But keep on top of it it's fine and I cannot stress how much bite they give above 1144 on the VXR but 1144 on the Mini are perfectly fine, never get fade with them like I did on the Astra
