I fitted a new header tank to my corsa just before pvs. However, its been getting lots of condensation in it Never had this with the old one. Also today I noticed there was a hissing sound coming from it.

Any ideas what could be causing this? As said it was spot on before. We thought it might have been an air lock so we bled it at pvs before I left and I've done it again today and its still the same. Not loosing any coolant though and the coolants clean.

Cheers

Like I said to shaun, Theres nowt wrong, Condensation is normal, and the hissing is normal too, it does build up a bit of pressure, which is released.

Right yesterday I wiped it all out and left the cap off for a good 6 hours or so. It was completely dry then. Done 60 odd miles today and its come straight back. Ordered a new cap now so we see if that does anything
