Got round to lowering the VTS.
BUT, i think the back needs to go lower?
BEFORE -
AFTER (Apex 50mm Springs, Rear 40mm/1click, on a fully refurbed axle)

Did you lowering it by the "click" method??
Does look like it needs to go a tad lower to match.You got any other side on pics??

looks alot better but as you mentioned drop the rear slightly more ?  as said looks alot better

Only grabbed a quickie today after putting tyres on it.
Just drew the bars out, jacked the arm up and slid the bars back in.

Who refurbed it anyway??Looks awfy high for a standard axle.
But aye,if the bars will come back out easy enough,i would bring it down another -10mm to match the front.
Tbh,when i seen the thread i was expecting it to be right down.lol.

I got the axle from axlesdirect, who were supposed to supply it lowered & never so i kicked up fuck, got an £80 refund and sold IM axle my old beam.
So in the end i paid £130 for a fully refurbed beam.
I did think about slamming it but wanted to try the sensible approach first, is only my daily driver after all.

Nah,don't slam it.They look better matched to the front,or just that wee bit higher at the rear.
A was chuffed to fuk when they said they buy fuked axles.Got 30 quid for mine and they sorted all the pick-up/delivery stuff out.Was even being sent by airmail.

if you took the bars out and raised the arms without taking them off then its nothing to do with clicks, never mention clicks again 
i'd go 10mm or so lower, youve done 50 at the front and the back higher anyway. mine was 60 front 70 rear and looked great imo

go another 20mm, as that looks like your emergency stopping lol
mines 50 front 50 rear and is a tiny bit nose heavy and handles perfect and looks good aswell

ouch axlesdirect have abit of a bad rep, mainly on condition of rear beams, and parts used, alot have been known to be bodged back together etc. was going to go to them myself until i read few threads and people personal experiances with them

2 clicks would be 70-80mm and clicks are a shit way to do it and a waste of a freshly refurbed axel.
50mm is a good compromise between handling and looks.
35mm is ideal for handling but with the saxo being so high as standard a 35mm car still doesnt really look lowered

click, notches, splines whatever all means the same thing, you push the torsion bar out and twist it and reinsert a desired number of splines

you can do it by pulling the arm off with the bar in it and reinsering it one notch which lowers 35-40mm per notch. this upsets the bearing seals in the trailing arm which allows water in and a breakdown of the bearing and wear on the stub pins.
if you leave the arm in place and remove the torsion bars completely from both sides of the beam you can adjust it by any amount you want and you dont upset the bearings/seals
