My friend asked is looking at a P Reg, 1.4, 16V Corsa with 53,000 miles in the near future and she wanted to know the common faults? Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated

tappy top end of engine, and poke about for rust (wheel well)

front chassi legs rotten ,b pillars cracked ,firewall behind sound deadning rotten rear inner arches rotten engine smoking and dodgy crash repairs

EGR valve seems to be common but this will be quite obvious if its gone or not

Rot at the bottom of the doors, and i think crank sensors are also quite common on corsa's. mines having that problem atm
