You'd be surprised how much a engine moves on normal rubber mounts.

If your exhaust was mounted soild you would crack it after a few thousand miles.

mine had a flexi on its standard exhaust and my Milltek also has one.

my engine also has loads of movement being mounted Transverse (sp)
