usually comes with instructions. take a peice on the clay and work it into a flat disk, about half the size of your palm. using the lubricant supplyed ( usualy a rapid detailing spray ) wet the surface and press hard but not too hard onto the bodywork. work it around in 1 small patch at a time, often lifting to check for dirt and other forign objects the clay picks off the paint. fold it and work it into a disc again, keeping the area your working on lubricated

nahh, i used poundstore wash and wax, then when its dried i use some sort of "spray and shine" that you wipe as you spray also around a pound then a dry cloth to rub the slightly visable smudges off. comes up really shiney. used to use autoglym dark shine until it ran out

break the bar into 4 seperate pieces = 4 individual cleaning sessions, may last 2 years then keep it wrapped up and sealed though so it doesnt dry out
