hi all went out in my car before to the cs meet up the orme and it was bumpy up there as other will say and on the way home my back box started to rattle quite bad so i just started it then to find out what was the problem with it really and it sounded like it was rattling from the cam area at the bottom is that the cam pully on its way out and it had a cambelt back in beginning of 09 but then when on tick over it went but soon as you rev it and then as its going back down the revs towards the bottom of revs its rattling and its nothing to do with the exhaust onit

Sure its for the cam pulley? Mine does this, i think its just a bearing or something on the aux belt
|

my water pump binds aswell like but soon as its reved it goes and it went garage today and he said it sounds like the cam tensioner but he didnt want to take the cover off just incase it collapsed

but im getting rid of the engine im getting a redtop jand i think my m8 is having mine but dont want to make him rebuild it even more money getting spend onit because he will tune it up like
