Is it possible to value a private number plate?

What's the best way to sell them - Privately or do any companies buy private plates?

I think Regtransfers.co.uk buy them off people. I know that they offered me about half what it cost me from the DVLA though.

Easier imo to just stick it on ebay and get what you get. What kind is it? Just a typical dateless irish thing? Probs not worth much if it is.

Yeah, its JAZ ####; The values vary massively for all the JAZ Prefix plates we can find, between £250 and £1000

Probably, I don't care what She gets for it; it was her Ex's branding, every car in his family (Mother, Brother, His, Company Van, Tractors etc etc) are all JAZ#### and one day She came back to find it on her car too.

She just wants rid but a few quid towards a new snowboard wouldn't go amiss either

With regards to spam, I valued my plate on Regtransfers about 4 years ago. I STILL get emails for them, offering half what was paid for it.

Problem is they're not at all rare.

I would value that at about £20 by the time you've paid to take it off.
