Personally I always wear everything just incase. I have a 2 piece Alpinestars leathers. Bottoms are track pants and the jacket is the tz1. Also wear a Knox back protector underneath. Is say you'd pick some good stuff up off eBay. The Mrs just bought an Alpinestars Stella 2 piece which came to less than 80 quid for both. And look hardly worn.

I used to wear textiles but found them too bulky and uncomfortable. Now have a set of 2 peice RST leathers. Need to get a new set of boots as they are worn out.

Have had a set of leather pants for sale for a while on ebay but had no takers on them.

I bought cheap textile stuff off eBay when I started, just in case I didn't get on with riding a bike.

I then bought Alpinestars 2 piece leathers from Hein Gericke when they had a sale on. Paid £480 instead of £600.
