Its Black, read above.

As for a subframe, you dont need one, just get a steel plate and drill holes in it to suit. For road use, you'd mount it to the existing runners so you can still adjust it. Subframes are very expensive for just a bit of plate that you can make for £3.

It passes easily. My 205 Rally Car past its MOT two weeks ago with exactly the same design.
