if i mind right you have to change dash loom engine loom then just just use all the other 1.6 bits

been looking into this my self! been told the easiest way round it is to remove the eps, and change the steering column for the one from the 1.6 sport so you will have hydraulic steering then use the loom from the 1.6 if you keep the eps apparently its a whole lot harder.

Done about 5 of these conversions, if u change the dash loom yes its all plug and play, u can keep the 1.2 dash loom and eps system but u have to modify the dash loom and then get a belt and possibly engine mount for none powersteeing

Easier to change dash loom, and IMO the fluid pas feels better than EPAS.

Easier to change the dash loom. No chance in he'll is it lol. Plus taking the epas out means removing the dashboard.
You need the rad, all water hoses, mk4 Astra rear alternator bracket with the tensioner on it. The wiring is quite straight forward too.

get a basic 8v Merit, peice of piss... all bolts straight in, dont even need to chance dash loom
