Is it possible to buy alloy paint in a aerosol?

Basically the same kind of finish that comes factoy on most vaux wheels now like on pentas,exclusivs ect.

i did mine white with the white alloy paint , primer and laquer in halfords 30-40 squid for all 4 wheels.

You wont get the same finish using an aerosol as you would get from.factory but if you spend time prepping and laquering it could look good enough.

Got mine from halfords.

Champion,gonna try refurb the wheels myself to try save a few quid instead of forking out for them to be powdercoated.

I know i wont get a factory finish buts as long as its a decent job il be happy.

Or do you think it would be best to just do them vaux star silver??

welll tbh im chuffed with mine i sanded down primed and painted in one day ... was hot the laquwered in the night and left off the car for 2 days put them on they look sweet.

I did the same Mark.

Didn't want to pay big so used rattle cans and used plenty of lacquer on the Softstars and came up brill imo.

everyone does it now it costs what 50 max.. i used

2 cans primer well 1 and half
3 cans wheel paint
2 laquer.

I used halfords best when i done mine.




Thats only with 1 coat of black though. Havent finished them yet

I painted my spare astra wheel a couple yers ago and came out quite wellbut the laquer wasn't the best my fingers were killing afterwards got a bit carried away rubbing most of the wheel back to bare metal.
