Do you mean are they fast? Are they easily tunable? Are they reliable? Are they cheap to buy?

Most of the plug covers are black
Wank engine, bigblock so same fitting as a 20XE. Underpowered for their weight, might as well fit a X20XEV.
Waste of time.
PS, how many more threads about rubbish?

To be honest buddy i dont see the point. If you want a cheap conversion go for the vectra 1.8 engine, think the code is x18xe1 or something like that. Assuming you have a sport 16v already then apparently it uses all the same parts i.e shafts, hubs, gearbox ect.
With a bit of ebay scanning and penny pinching you could pull this off for nearly fuck all
Corsa 1.6 sport - 1
1.7 puma engined fiesta - 0
Keeping corsa's on the redline since 2008

was already thinking about the x18xe1, never actually realised how cheap they are though, £80 for the lump sound good to me haha

113bhp 1.8 SRi (120ps) 4d (99)
123bhp 1.8 SRi (130ps) 4d
vectra's

Think the 113bhp is the X18XE1, and the 123bhp is a Z18XE (the very late 1.8 Vectra B's seemed to use the Z18XE that you also found in the Corsa C SRi)

C18XE (if you can find 1) is a good motor. The book figures are 125bhp,but the never seem to make that power, they always make more.Seen plenty over the years in standard form pull over 140bhp.
They aren't as quick as a C20XE,but they are quicker than an X20XEV.Had all 3 at some point so talking from experience here.
