hi, i have been told by some 1 that i can't use sfi box on my conversion unless i chop loads out the shell and the only way is using a powercap, is this true?

Its true about the SFi box but you dont need a power cap, you can use a pipe like this with an adapter plate -

Think its off either a newer 2.0 16v or a 1.8 8v, cant remember exactly sorry.

It's an 'ecotec' pipe. Off the later valvers.

im running an sgi box, only had to cut about 15 inch out of the upper bulkhead and fitted fine, makes no difference to the car its only the shield part for the wiper linkage, master cylinder and washer bottle.

just use the ecotec pipe saves alot off arsing about can get them off 2.0 ecorec vectras calibras etc
