Anyone been? I've been reading up and it appears quieter than I was expecting (going in Sept). Can anyone who's been confirm if it's going to be half decent for a few nights out?

Went in September with the GF, its more bars and restaurants, found a livelier strip not far from our hotel which was quite good, bit too quiet imo, just got back from Zante and was far too lively to be with the GF, only went for a piss and she was gettin hounded by groups of lads haha

Used to live out in Majorca. Alcudia/Pollensa is much quieter, and predominantly german. For a quiet break it would be fine, plenty of bars but not many clubs but if you want lively in majorca go to magaluf

Thanks for the replies....

I'm going with my missus, her step sister and boyfriend and there 2 kids. I'm not so bothered about not being any clubs, although Jay - can you recall where the strip was/what it was called?

Also not so fussed about ze germans, I stayed in a hotel full of them in Gran Canaria last year ans they kept themselves to themselves (even when the world cup was on ). As long as we have some decent bars to hit after sitting on the beach i'll be happy.

Alcudia is ace for families. Been a few times and really like it. Its only couple hours on a plane and its fairly quiet.

Wouldnt got there for clubbing, although theres plenty of places to drink
