has anyone from up north been to thorpe park ? cant decide whether to go m1 - m25 or a1-m1-m25?
I know im gunna hit the m25 around 9 - 930 on friday morning (not good) but never been down that neck of the woods. only been as far down as bristol
any advice helpfull

A1 = bad, IMO.
Last time I went to shandy land I did M1. Easy/boring drive

Was thinking of driving down a while ago buy for the length of the journey id be better off staying there a night and go to the park the next day.

a1m/m1 is fine, m25 will be crazy at that time

im thinkin m1 as im setting of at 6 so will hit the m1 at 6.45 so the traffic wont be to bad and its 135 miles straight down no changing route + the a1 is all different now and has fixed cameras, its jst the m25 for 26 mile what guna be the hard bit

You'll only be on the M25 for 20miles, you'll be alright.

Might be worth considering A1 all the way down to the M25 as there are roadworks around M1 J13 which can be pretty slow!
M25 shouldn't be too bad unless there is an accident or something... Friday mornings tend not to be too bad in my experience.
