fibreglass in my experiences, is great for weight, so for that application its great offset with low cost.
but if you want good paint work its not great, stone chips very easily, and can crack paint etc

but Carbon will stone chip equally; the debate is not Steel/Alu/ABS against GRP - its GRP against FRP. Its not the Fibres that chip, its the matrix
