can i use pop3 email accounts with thunderbird?

Want to sway away from outlook really and windows mail.

If you need to do multiple accounts I'd say outlook 2010 is best bet, can't think of anything else that presents them all in the same way and it does work really well.

Have you thought about using GMail and getting it to pull all your mail from your other accounts? Atleast then all your mail is in one place and if you want to use an email client you just IMAP the GMail account.
As John said, i'd have a look at Outlook 2010 as it's a fair amount better than previous versions.

GMail. It's great being able to check mail on your phone or from any web browser around the world.

None of this "oh shit, my HDD is dead and I've lost about 5 years worth of important emails" nonsense.

The cloud is the future!
