Sometimes you're unlucky enough to get a spider living in the wingmirror who takes it upon himself to call it home and thus spins a web connecting the mirror to the door - no matter how many times you decide to flick it away it always spins another.

Well, I'm unlucky enough to have developed TWO of the damned things

I don't like spiders so don't want to touch it.
If I wash it with the hose, it just hides away and I give up first.
He only ever seems to make himself known when I'm driving around He's mocking me.

How can I get rid of them

wd40/aerosol and a lighter aimed at the mirror for a second or 2 so the flames/heat get behind and toast the little git(s)

Had this problem. Easy to solve.

Goto B&Q. Buy something calleh Dethlac (spelling) its in a green tin. Its a laquer that lasts for months. if an insect touches it it dies.

Spray in around the glass, inside etc, let it dry then remove it from glass with thinners, white spirit etc.

I havent had one web since. Awesome stuff.

Set fire to the whole car to make sure it isnt laughing at you hiding out in another gap while you set fire to your own mirror.
