Having just turfed my garden, I would say to make sure the joints are well compressed together as otherwise when the turf shrinks a bit, it will leave gaps. Mines been down a month now and looks great, although its pissed it down solidly so I can't cut it.

Have you treated the decking yet? Just we left ours last summer and it went minging. Can even use that spray on stuff or just apply it with a sponge to get in the grooves.
Can't wait to start my new garden this summer, but my incline is about 3x as steep as yours was
Also we've got some lights around my mums one aswell looks cool and easy to fit. Even got some in a pattern in the middle of the main decking.

Don't Plan to treat the decking I'll just clean it with the pressure washer when required.

Nah I'll clean It regular. Paintings meant to be more hassle than anything so I'm not gonna bother.

Painting it is a pain as it soaks in and takes a few coats, I use marine treated stuff as the water doesn't damage it as much.
