Hi can any one help.Iv got a 1.6 sport and the clutch cable seems to be sticking.
Am having trouble geting into gear.
A talk throw and what tool and are needed would be great.how long would it take to do thanks

Is it sticking or does it just need adjusting up? Is the biting point really low down?

pretty sure it just need ajusting as it was like it a few months ago.Had it done now it the same.The biting point feels ok.would you think it would be best to try a new cable? thanks for reply mike

It's a doddle to adjust it up so you might as well try that first. Look under the bonnet and locate your clutch arm, the end of the cable is threaded and goes through the arm, you just need a prybar or similar to push the clutch arm back then screw the white plastic bush clockwise a few turns. Release the arm then jump in and give it a try, if it's still no better, try giving it more turns.
