Those of you who have an iPad, what do you mainly use it for?
I've got an app on my phone called "Invoices To Go" Which I probably spend around 1-3 hours a day on every day.... It's quite annoying as it's so small.
They do an app for an iPad too. Thinking of getting one, but don't know whether I can justify it for the one app...
Would I be wise to just get a second hand bottom of the range iPad 1, or wait till the iPad 3 comes out, in hope i'd actually use it more...
Who hasn't had a tablet before a laptop, and uses it more than their laptop now?
What decent apps are on them?

Use my iPad as much as my iPad now, but more form the times I don't want to be sitting at a desk, ie in the mornings, early evening etc. Still use a laptop a fair bit, but iPad has become a quicker/easier email and browsing device.
Wouldn't be without one any more. Expensive toy though, not exactly much use for 'productive' stuff. Emails is ok though, but that's about it.

Use mine for browsing, thats about it. Still find myself using the laptop more even for that though.
Only really use it for all the other stuff like apps, games, music, films when I'm going somewhere like on holiday and bored on the plane/train.

I use mine pretty much for browsing, battery lasts longer than my MacBook and it's easier to use in bed etc

Brought one back from Vegas this week. Games and apps seems to be the order of the day, and browsing. Was a godsend on the 10 hour flight home!

Cost $647, tax included, which equalled £428. They are fine to use in the UK the only thing to bear in mind is you don't get a UK mains adaptor. Luckily still have my 3GS charger, although it's only 5w and not 10w, so charging is slow! Going to get a US to UK adaptor, problem solved!
