hi, just got my corsa back on road after the crank sensor went and was replaced. it now runs fine when its moving. but if i slow down it will bog out. i have adjusted the timing so it ticks over nicely, but it still continues to bog out. any ideas what i t can be?

okay cheers for the help, sometimes even when i start it up, it will just keep bogging even when i press down on the throttle, and then eventually cut out..

I had one last week, if you planted the throttle it would bog, i.e just not want to rev but feathering the throttle, it was fine.
I cleaned the throttle body out (it was terrible) and all was resolved.

clean it first, replace if it's broken.

just gone outside to try it, it will tick over in neutral but as soon as its put in gear it jutters then cuts out..

eml light on? Unplug the afm and see if it runs any different

nah no eml light mate. just randomly tried it a minute ago, and it works !? thinking it could be to do with timing.. this car is a herby, its doing my sweed in !

okay mate cheers, i took the afm out and replugged it, and seems to be working ok.. for now ! 1.0's are so unpredictable !

how'd / why would you adjust the timing ? the 1.0s are on a timing chain also

Also, when i took my afm out, i cleaned the element with a bit carb cleaner and it seemed to run better.

to be honest.. it could anything ! but cheers for the help anyway everyone. will have to have a proper look tommorow, or book it in at the garage.

have been told that its the lambda sensor? was going to make sure that it could be this on here, before going out and buying it? what you guys think ??
